  • Blades are sharpened by hollowing out the length of the blade to various depths. Some of the different depths of hollow we offer are 1/2" low bite to 5/16" more bite and everything in between. The most common hollows are 1/2" and 3/8". To become proficient on all four edges use a shallower hollow.
