Starting off with the kick point of the Jetspeed FT5 Pro, the Hybrid Kick Point is designed to bridge the gap between a lighting fast shot release and great power. This is achieved by a highly stiff flex zone sandwiched between two softer flex zones, starting just below the Jetspeed logo, creating a hinge-like effect within the shaft. This design allows players to get quick shots off in tight spaces as well as let heavy shorts fly from the blue line.
Continuing the advantage that it gave with the FT4 Pro, The Jetspeed FT5 Pro is taking full advantage of CCM’s Skeleton+ technology. With more consistent manufacturing, this new taper technology will not only provide a better and lighter feeling stick, but it will be more reliable for key moments in any game situation.
Also newly upgraded for the FT5 Pro shaft, is their Nanolite Carbon Layering. This is a high-performance layering technology that they have combined with their upgraded sigmatex spread tow. This combination will further enhance the sticks lightness, feel and durability, allowing the stick to be more dangerous in the hands of an experienced player.
Keeping with the construction and materials of the Jetspeed FT5 Pro, they are using an upgraded Sigmatex Spread Tow carbon, which is specifically designed with player’s sticks in mind. This weave improves on previous generation’s durability and strength, all while allowing the FT5 Pro to be better balanced and lighter than ever. Down at the blade is a RR-90 Blade with a Damp-Core and new peel ply. The blade is a combination of exclusive dampening material and an optimized stiffness. This will provide the perfect mix of feel and pop for the best of both worlds and ultimate blade feel. Upgraded in the blade is the Sigmatex spread tow, which increases overall blade durability.
Exclusive to the FT5 Pro Sticks this year, CCM is giving players the option to choose a color for their stick. Offering the sticks in red, blue, green, yellow, and black. Now you can have a Jetspeed stick that matches you just a little bit better.
